Canadian rapper Drake is pretty good at giving people their flowers while they are still here. He’s just done that again, this time to the Korean collective The HAIM Sisters.

In a post on his Instagram page yesterday, May 25, the Certified Lover Boy of Canadian music notes that he’s just met the Beatles. The picture showed him hugging the sisters. They looked happy together.

Well, the sisters have no quarrel with that description. In fact, they relish it — a reality amplified by them posting exactly the same picture and calling themselves the Beatles.

The original Beatles as we know it is a rock band formed in Liverpool in 1960 and made up of the pals John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr. In the years since their unveiling, they have emerged as one of the most famous rock bands in history.

The same cannot be said of HAIM right now, though. But with such robust confidence, one wouldn’t be surprised if they should one they emerge as another global collective with sinews similar to that of the Beatles.

Until that happens, you’re still welcome to humour them by identifying them by the name they wish to. That’s one way to be nice. Lol.
