Elon Musk Talks Creating A Content Moderation Council” For Twitter

It’s no longer news that Elon Musk has taken over Twitter after an initially botched deal. The word is that the billionaire entrepreneur has hit the grand running — as the saying goes.

Following his takeover of the microblogging platform, Musk had announced plans to form a content moderation council. And with the body in place, according to him, no major decisions or account reinstatements will take place before the council meets.

The content moderation council is expected to have widely divergent viewpoints to accommodate all voices and to ensure no arbitrary decisions are made regarding user accounts.

This is thought to be necessary because of the displeasure generated by the arbitrary suspension of user accounts before his takeover. You can check out Musk’s tweet below.

Musk’s takeover of Twitter has elicited mixed reactions, with some tweeps celebrating and stating it would be a triumph for free speech and others expressing their fear that the platform might become a hotbed for hate speech.

Anyway, the coming days should reveal where exactly the company will be headed after The Boring Company’s boss’s takeover.

Well, since Musk took a sink to Twitter before his takeover, you should, well, let that sink in: Maye’s son wants to do things his way.
