We cover political news and information from South Carolina. The Palmetto Scoop (TPS) is reinventing and redefining the Palmetto State’s political scene.

We’re fun, edgy, at times crass, and admittedly conservative. And we’re just fine with that.

Yes, we do ask that you register once and log in to comment. This is a way to keep the trolls out and the real comments in. We don’t censor discussion (as long as it’s PG-13) and we hope that each post is only the beginning of the debate. We’re counting on YOU to keep us going.

We also have an anonymous tip line where anyone can drop a quick note and give us the scoop. We’ll then follow up, do a little investigating, and if it’s news worthy, we’ll post something. Again, we need YOU to drive this thing.

We understand that political junkies will be naturally drawn to us, and that’s cool.

But we also know that there’s a large group of people that would get into politics if only it were a little less boring. And that’s where we come in.

So whether you’re a junkie, or just want to have some fun with your daily dose of political mumbo-jumbo, check us out.

And, in case we forgot to mention it, we’re the best because YOU make us the best.
