It’s Fight To The Finish As Major League DJz’s Bandile Mbere Drags RAF To Court Over R3 Million Claim

It is a battle royale between South African musician Bandile Mbere, one of the two-member Major League DJz band, and the Road Accident Fund (RAF) of South Africa, which has refused to pay him his claims.

The musician, who was involved in an accident a while back, had made a claim of R3 million at the state body, but it refused to honour the claim. He was therefore forced to take the case to the high court to seek some relief.

The RAF is adamant that while the amapiano might have had an accident, he certainly did not sustain serious injuries to warrant the payment he is demanding as compensation.

Bandile had an accident back in 2020 which left him bound to crutches. At some point, he even used a wheelchair. The battle to the compensated by the RAF has been going on since then. With the prospects of getting the payment from the RAF appearing dim, the musician had had to seek the intervention of the courts.

It will be interesting to see in whose favour the court will rule. A verdict will certainly set a precedent for what follows next. You are welcome to tag along with us and stay tuned for updates.
