Somizi launched his kiddies wear brand a while back to declamations of disapproval from some quarters and some calling for the banning of the brand given what its founder stands for.
Well, despite the opposition to the brand and its founder, plans are underway to officially make Sompire Kids available in stores by 2024. And at the rate things are going, it is seriously doubtful there is anything that can stop the release in the coming months.
In a post on his official Instagram page, he had shared a clip of a kid unboxing a package from Sompire Kids. The package contained a card with an affirmation which the kid read before opening the accompanying box to reveal what the package contains.
In the caption, Somizi noted that his job is done, as the video shows what he loves seeing – confident kids. The goal of the kiddies brand, which Somizi emphasized at launch is to encourage children to be bold, much like the slogan of the brand.
This is also what has caused him trouble among sections of the population, who fear that he might be encouraging kids to delve into the gay universe, where he is an important and visible face
