TIGER BACKUP UNHAPPY WITH ROLE AT CLEMSON
Quarterback Willy Korn announced in December that he would be leaving Clemson to play football elsewhere… and now, it appears, he has found a home.
The once highly-touted redshirt sophomore quarterback announced on Thursday that he would be transferring to Marshall next season, where he will compete with quarterback Brian Anderson for the starting position.
A press conference with Korn has been scheduled for 2 p.m. at Clemson.
Many Tiger fans had hoped Korn would be one of the school’s all-time greats. But he was beat out for the starting job last year by freshman Kyle Parker after a shoulder injury sidelined him for most of last year.
