LAUREN CAITLIN UPTON TO AGAIN PUT MAP SKILLS TO TEST ON NATIONAL TV

The woman who made the title of Miss Teen South Carolina infamous after botching a question about maps will ironically be on a show about racing around the world.

News leaked Tuesday that Lauren Caitlin Upton, better known as Miss Teen South Carolina 2007, will be part of the cast of CBS’s hit show “The Amazing Race.” Upton will reportedly team up with boyfriend Brent Horne for the 16th installment of the show, which will air next year.

The Amazing Race pits 10 to 12 teams of two against each other in a race through various regions of the world in a quest to win $1 million.

Upton has continued to cash in on her accidental celebrity since her pageant meltdown more than two years ago.

In May, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue a modeling career following a short stint with Donald Trump. And earlier this month, she was on Jimmy Kimmel Live trying to learn where babies come from.

The Amazing Race gig, however, will allow her an opportunity to finally visit places everywhere like such the Iraq and the Asian countries.
