It may have been a while since his last Fill Up adventure, but Refiloe Phoolo, the South African rapper long famous by his adopted stage name Cassper Nyovest, isn’t done with his #FillUp adventures just yet. Instead, there’s a plan for another – and potentially something more memorable.
As early as April this year, he had informed fans that another #FillUp exercise was on the cards. But he threw things open to his fans, asking where the campaign should hold.
In a follow-up tweet months later, on October 6, he had told fans to expect a big announcement the following morning, assuring them that it is something they have been waiting for. And true to his words, he came with big news.
In the tweet the next morning, he announced that the #FiullUp campaign would be coming to Mmabatho Stadium in Mafikeng, close to his grandmother’s house, where he grew up and where his musical dreams and adventures began.
As he had noted previously, a fill-up campaign takes months to plan and execute. Maybe, things had been in planning and execution all along, for the songster noted that the fill-up campaign will hold on December 3.
Tickets for the event are already on sale at Web Tickets and Pick n Pay. The price of tickets ranges from R150 (general stands) to R350 (golden circle).
