EVENT TO TAKE PLACE OUTSIDE CONGRESSMAN’S WEST COLUMBIA OFFICE
Backers of Joe Wilson are banding together to show their support for the Congressman with a rally in West Columbia Friday.
The Free Market Warrior blog said it was holding a rally to support Wilson, who became a household name Wednesday when he shouted “you lie” at President Barack Obama during his address to a joint session of Congress.
“Time is of the essence so we need to be like the ‘Minute Men’ during the Revolutionary War,” wrote Loren Spivack on the group’s blog.
The rally is set for 5:45 p.m. Friday at Wilson’s Congressional office at 1700 Sunset Blvd in West Columbia.
The group is asking everyone interested in attending to email them at fmwforwilson@gmail.com. Anyone interested in donating to Wilson’ campaign can do so by clicking here.

The president said that he was going to “call out” those that misrepresented his health care bill. Well, you called out the president for misrepresenting his own health care proposal to the American public. The president is a very intelligent man and he knows that his plan will never and can never be deficit neutral.

Why should I take my family to a state that shows no respect to the president of the United States and there citizens. If elected officials are like this, what are the citizens like ? Between Joe Wilson and the Governor you have been disgraced. Fact checking shows that Joe Wilson was wrong and there are provisions that will not allow illegal immigrants to get funds from the government for health care. there has to be a time where you have to allow the truth to prevail over prejudice.

I salute you for being the lone person having the ***** to stand up to this president, who is, without a doubt, the biggest master deceiver ever to be elected to a major public office. You have stated what MANY,MANY of us honest, hard working family men and women feel. Until now, our voices have not been heard. The media is downplaying, if even giving any time, to the masses who demand that this president, who may or may not actually be a naturalized citizen, follow the Constitution as written-and not try to rewrite it.

The President has not read and does not know what is in the bills he is trying to sell. On that technicality he was not lying. There is no language prohibiting illegals from getting coverage. Wish I could vote for him as my congressman.

DEMOCRATS VOTED ALL THREE DOWN. Now if you don’t want illegals to receive care, why you you mind enforcing it?
