AKA Remarks: “Me and Nasty C Don’t Really Speak”

AKA states that he and Nasty C don't really speak.

In an interview with Scoop Makhathini, AKA stated that he and Nasty C don’t really speak.

Scoop had credited AKA and Nasty C for giving him direct access to their careers. He said:

For me dawg I wanna say one thing through your career you have always allowed me success. There is a few people who have allowed me access it’s you and Nasty.

According to Spotify and Apple Music, AKA and Nasty C have been the top two rappers for the past four years. The two rappers have collaborated on a song, ‘Bang Out,’ which featured AKA and K.O.

The talented rapper, AKA, replied:

How is Nasty doing? Me and him we don’t really speak but I respect him and he is the future. He is the next me.

Scoop Makhathini said he has the same respect for AKA.

Earlier this month, AKA had praised Nasty C, stating that ‘he’s the future and he’s the next me.’

He opened up about Nasty C being the biggest thing in South African rap as the young rapper keeps making the country proud as he soars high and becomes more remarkable worldwide.

The young rapper, Nasty C, had attended the Hollywood Walk of Fame in California, where he was invited alongside stars like Justin Bieber, Lionel Richie, Shawn Mendes, and Lewis Capaldi.

AKA praised Nasty C:

He’s the future, he’s the next me…he’s going to take the game further than I could ever take the game and you can quote me on that. I’m not scared to say that.

I find a lot of guys are like coming…I wouldn’t say at the end of their cycles but ‘What now?’ and I also find myself at that place. I’m still on top, which is a blessing you know? But at some point the next is going to come through and it’s just gonna be their time and if you try to hold on to it for too long…

AKA’s mission at this point of his like is to make South Africa great and he is doing everything in his power to make that happen by using his influence, network and finances. His big show, #FeesForAllMegaConcert fundraiser event will be held at the Ticket Pro Dome in Johannesburg on the 15th of February, 2020.
