FOR ONLY $5, YOU CAN WATCH A ‘COMEDY’ ABOUT INSURANCE AND FIGHTING DISEASES

There is a small but vocal minority of angry socialists in South Carolina who are worried that Congressional leaders might not pass a trillion-dollar health care overhaul that would tax the uninsured, cut Medicare, and destroy private insurance.

And they will unite next month to bring attention to their concerns in the only way they know how: By making up a bunch of things, calling them “facts,” putting them into a “documentary” loaded with quotes from “great minds” like Noam Chomsky and Al Gore, and then sitting around and talking about how convincing the “documentary” was because all of its powerful “facts.”

“Damaged Care,” a musical comedy film about the state of health care in the United States and “Charleston Healthcare Stories,” a new documentary short by Mt. Pleasant resident Edward Faircloth, will be presented at 7:30 p.m. for a Progressive Dinner and a Movie Evening at the Olde North Charleston Picture House (1080 E Montague Ave.) on Thursday, August 20. [...]

There is a suggested donation of $2 for members of the Greater Park Circle Film Society and $5 for non-members.

Faircloth will introduce the final edit of his short documentary, shot at health care reform meetings in the Charleston area in June, and then talk briefly about the challenge of documenting a sensitive political and personal issue with his subjects following its showing.

The main presentation, … is a filmed version of a musical cabaret written and performed by two physicians, Greg LaGana, M.D., and Barry Levy, M.D., which has been performed in 27 states. Musical Numbers include Another Outbreak of Us Superbugs, Doctors in Cyberspace and The Spare Parts Blues.

After the main film, there will be a brief post-film discussion and then the audience is invited to gather for libations at The Mill.

So basically, for $5 you can go watch a “musical comedy” about health care with a bunch of Greenpeace rejects, or you can go to Wal-Mart and buy a crappy BB gun to repeatedly shoot yourself in the foot for the same price.

The BB gun sounds tempting and far less painful, but the press release did say the movie was a comedy. And what could possibly be funnier than a movie about health insurance and fighting diseases?

Even better, the other movie they’re showing was shot at health care meetings last month. I’m not 100 percent positive, but I’m told movies shot at meetings and produced in less than a month usually win Oscars.

Best of all, though, there’s a band playing called “Another Outbreak of Us Superbugs.” I dare you to tell me those guys don’t rock some faces off. Seriously, I dare you.

Our local film society is presenting the show in collaboration with the progressive network, though we do not have any political affiliation. I wanted to correct your article. There is no band at our event. “Another Outbreak of us Superbugs” is one of the musical numbers in the film. The stage show’s website has video links to several of their songs. The site is located here.

In the future, I recommend that you perform more thorough research before publishing an article. Thank you.

For Free you can read my Whistleblower report sent to FINRA ( Financial Services Regulatory Agency) that was sent DIRECTLY to the OFFENDING FIRM.

MY COMPLAINT IS WHY NO ONE IN AMERICA WINS IN THE HEALTHCARE ARGUMENT>

All insurance companies, ALL OF THEM, have connections to one singular company, that is ” too big to fail”.

Insurance companies are all hooked up…. so you want to talk healthcare or do you want to talk insurance because they are two entirely different things.
