
WEBSITE ALLOWS VISITORS TO GET THROUGH TELEPHONE PROMPTS AT MAJOR COMPANIES
Have you ever wanted to speak to a customer service representative at your cable company or credit card company only to find an almost endless number of prompts? Well your frustration may be at an end.
The website “GetHuman” has a list of hundreds of different companies along with information on how to get past the automated answering machine.
If you want to speak with someone at Google, for example, you dial 650-623-4000, then press “0.”
Not all companies are that easy to get to, though.
Anyone flying Air Canada looking to speak with a live operator must call 888-247-2262, then press “1″ at the first prompt, then “0″ at the second, third and fourth.
GetHuman also lists the average hold time, quality rating and communication rating for each company as submitted by users.
With 959 business currently listed, GetHuman is still expanding and looking for users to add new listings.
