In expanding The Palmetto Scoop’s efforts to bring you the best in South Carolina news and information, I have decided to bring on a new financial opinion contributor to pen a section on, what else… finance.

Dubbed “Serious Business,” the section will be written by veteran Columbia mortgage banker John Sturm.

His specialty is commercial and residential lending. But luckily for TPS readers, he really knows his stuff on a lot of important financial areas that concern every day folks.
