COME OUT TO ANNUAL HOMES FOR VETS BBQ IN MAULDIN THIS SUNDAY

A good friend asked me to pass along information on a very worthy event taking place this weekend in Mauldin: The Homes for Vets Annual Flag Day Benefit BBQ.

Featuring live entertainment, speeches from elected officials and candidates, and of course plenty of barbecue, this will be a good time event for the whole family.

And it’s for a good cause. Proceeds will go to Homes For Vets, a nonprofit organization that provides free homes to military veterans.

The festivities begin at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Renaissance Complex, 112 Renaissance Circle.

The event is free to the public and $25 to participate as a sponsor. To RSVP, contact Lynda Colon at (864) 335-9273 or lynda@homesforvets.com.

Homes for Vets was founded in 2006 by South Carolina developer Jeff Willis with the simple mission of ensuring that America’s heroes have a place to call home.

This sounds like a great event for a great cause! It is the soldier that gives us freedom and they can never be thanked enough!

This is a great event that benefits a wonderful charity.

All should come out to this event and support taking care of our vets

But Boss Limbaugh says homeless veterans are a myth. This must be another liberal, America-hating scam. Don’t be fooled!

    Kyle,

    “Boss Limbaugh”?

Not even trying to hide that you get your talking points from “Boss Olbermann”, eh?
