FUNNY YOUTUBE CLIP SHOWS SCOTTISH SINGER KICKING COMPETITION

“It would appear that America’s love affair with Britain’s love affair with a Scottish woman who never had a love affair is finally over.”

That’s what my girl Maria Sansone of Poptub said after Susan Boyle, the 48-year-old woman who shot to worldwide fame after a shocking rendition of “I Dreamed a Dream,” lost in the final round of “Britain’s Got Talent” last week.

Sansone then introduced one of the funniest YouTube videos I have ever seen (above), in which Boyle runs up and kids the little girl who ended up beating her.

Well, Boyle didn’t actually do that. But the clip is so well cut that it actually almost looks real. Almost.

Ironically, it was YouTube that helped propel Boyle’s fame, with the feel-good clip of her first ever performance receiving more than 66 million views since April 11. Now, it’s YouTube that is proliferating her downfall.

I guess the circle has come around in full. Except, now she’ll be a few million dollars, err… pounds richer.
