Any efforts I made that helped elect Mark Sanford were regrettable youthful mistakes that I darn sure haven’t bragged about for years.

Might I add that website was used in the general election campaign, not primary, of 2002. Guess that shows how much you know, whoever you are.

I am embarrassed that Wes Hayes is my State Senator. The man is a big government RINO putz. He has been one of the big backers of raising our state cigarette tax to expand the welfare state. He overrides all of the governor’s spending vetoes. The man never saw wasteful spending that he didn’t approved of. He’s a carbon copy of what brought down the Republican Party in D.C. the last two election cycles.

Earl, people know you have a blog. They probably clicked on it one time when you linked to it from your comments on the relevant blogs in this state. However, your blog is about as widely read as the New Testament at a synagogue. You get 14 hits a day. Maybe. We all realize that no matter how few clicks you get, you will continue to huff and puff in irrelevance…and once in a blue moon remind us of the time you made a website in the 2002 gubernatorial primary (the impact of which you’ll exaggerate). Sit down. Shut up. Go home. You don’t know Republican politics in this state. You only think you do.

Mab – if they showed up today, I wasn’t at the office to receive them. I’ll be watching for them next week. Gotta be back in Columbia on Tuesday to help get our new Safety Director oriented. Was just there Thursday, and I’ll be back on June 1. This traveling was a lot more fun ten years ago!

Adam, you do plenty of shilling here on this blog for McMaster, Graham and others, so you might want to think about that before you go pointing fingers at others.

I’ve known George for years. He’s always been a hard worker, never afraid to push 24/7 to get things done, great to get along with and someone who would probably have a darn good career in the private sector, if he decided he was tired of the political world, where every job is a short-lived temp job.
