Famous Mzansi choreographer Bontle Modiselle has been announced as a part of Always’ #Bloodsisters Movement to fight against Period Poverty and miseducation.
Many girls all over the country and the world are still not educated about period poverty. Global Citizen calls it the lack of access to sanitary products, menstrual hygiene education, or waste management.
There have been moves to help educate girls and people all over the world about this. According to recent reports, Mzansi choreographer Bontle Modiselle has partnered with Procter & Gamble (P&G) for the Always #Bloodsisters campaign to raise awareness of period poverty.
The star excitedly announced that she has become a part of the movement on Instagram.
She wrote, “I’ve had a beautiful walk with Always, not only as a consumer but as a family doing life-changing and impactful work. Planting seeds of the kind of fruit that will only be seen for years from now..”
“The BloodSisters campaign is a powerful movement in celebration of who we are as girls and women, more so the deep desire to deliver a promise to not only keep our girls in school but to totally do away with the challenges of the stigmas.”
