SENATOR: OBAMA CANNOT PICK RADICAL LIBERAL
Any day now, President Barack Obama will announce his pick to be the next member of the U.S. Supreme Court to replace outgoing Justice David Souter.
Washington insiders speculate that it could be anyone from a woman to radical liberal to a homosexual to a conservative or somewhere in between.
But the nomination is just the beginning. Getting confirmation from the U.S. Senate is where the fun takes place.
Sen. Lindsey Graham, who will have a lot of influence over approving Obama’s nominee because of his position on the Judiciary Committee, was on FOX News yesterday discussing the issue. Here’s the clip:
Obama will need at least one Republican vote to get his nominee out of the committee. And, as Graham said, “if he just gets one Republican, he screwed up.”
Granted, Souter largely voted with the left-wing members of the court. But Obama’s best pick should, at the very least, be a moderate.
Putting a radical liberal on the court would not only be a detriment to America, but it could further weaken him if that person gets rejected. However, I wouldn’t put anything past Obama right now.
The Obama pick will fill the seat left by Souter, who announced last month that he would retire when the court’s term ends in June.

Lindsey Graham is clueless.
