South African band Majorsteeze has given insight into their relationship with their mentor, Cassper Nyovest, noting that there is no real relationship with him.
The genesis of their failed relationship stems from the Major Steeze brothers deciding to work with both AKA and Cassper Nyovest. According to the duo, their relationship with the “Doc Shebeleza” hitmaker took a dive after he found out that they had an unreleased song with AKA.
AKA and Cassper had a great musical rivalry that persisted until AKA’s assassination on February 10 this year. His death marked the end of the rivalry, but then it left a lot of bruises in its wake. Majorsteez found themselves entangled in the pair’s rivalry.
According to the brothers, when Cassper found out about their collaboration with AKA. he sidelined them and did no include them in his FIll Up campaign – something that should have been a walk in the park. It hurt, of course. But they have moved on and frankly admits they have no relationship with Cassper.
It is unclear how Cassper would react to Majorsteez – that is, if he would react at all. The sonsgter has been in numerous battles as a rapper and is at the moment more concerned about being a billioaire
