THE HYPOCRISY OF THE ‘GREEN DEMOCRATS’
I believe that, taken as a whole, the people of South Carolina are fairly representative of the country.
I don’t know if I’m correct in that assumption, but this post will demonstrate how the braying donkey media — that is, the propaganda arm of the Democratic Party for many years — manipulates public opinion. This goes all the way back to the first Persian Gulf War, when we forced Saddam Hussein out of Kuwait.
Although the first president Bush stopped the war immediately after achieving his stated aim of forcing Saddam to relinquish Kuwait, he was hammered for not going on to Baghdad and “finishing the job.”
During the years after, I talked to not one South Carolinian, black or white, Republican or Democrat, who believed that we should have allowed Saddam to escape the consequences of the war and remain in power. Not a single one.
How things changed later when Saddam became a bigger threat. The media swore over and over again that Saddam should be left alone.
Something else happened during Saddam’s removal from Kuwait that illustrated the hypocrisy of the green crowd Democrats (a.k.a. environmental propagandists).
When Saddam Hussein committed the greatest environmental crime in history by setting 600 Kuwaiti oil wells aflame, there was no raucous outcry from the green crowd that the monster be punished.
Now, the green crowd led by President Barack Obama, wants to punish American Coal companies who allow a little extra carbon into the atmosphere while furnishing affordable energy to America.
If we listen to the green people and believe that American companies are killing us with pollution, there must be some natural antidote in the environment that is protecting us and increasing our life expectancy. That’s because the average age of death continues to rise, despite the “sorry health care” claimed by Democrats.
I must be missing something, because, if not for American capitalist companies snuffing out the flames, those 600 burning oil wells might still be spewing deadly fumes into the atmosphere of the Middle East, killing all those Arabs and Muslims with whom Democrats have such a love affair.
That environmental crime alone — a pure act of environmental terrorism — was reason enough to remove the monster Hussein from power. And no amount of Democrat lying in the media can ever show that George W. Bush was wrong in removing Saddam; Chris Matthew’s nit-picking about weapons of mass destruction be damned.
Six hundred oil wells aflame is a weapon of mass destruction.
Does the tone of my opinion seem angry?
Well, anger is growing all over the country and it is way past time we started rebutting the lying fools in the donkey media. We can’t allow them to continue to try to re-write history. Too much is at stake.
