TENENBAUM SAYS SHE WON’T RUN FOR GOVERNOR

This story got lost in the confusion of creating the new Palmetto Scoop, but kudos to Jennifer Read of the Indigo Journal for picking up on news that Inez Tenenbaum will not run for governor next year.

The The former two-term state superintendent told the Sumter Item

“Every race I’ve ever run, I always knew it was my race with my name on it and I just don’t think this is my race,” she said. “You’ve got to listen to that. It just didn’t feel like my time. I can’t explain it any other way.”

As much as I think Tenenbaum is a class act, I have to agree with her. This is not her race… it’s one of these fellah’s races.

And, if I were a betting man, I would go with this guy in particular. I know, you’re totally shocked I would say that, aren’t you?
