ARIZONA SENATOR TO HOST DC FUNDRAISER FOR SC ATTORNEY GENERAL
When Sen. John McCain ran for president, South Carolina Attorney General Henry McMaster was one of his closest confidants and most trusted surrogates. McMaster traveled the state and country stumping for the Arizona Republican and standing by his side at countless campaign events.
Now McCain is returning the favor by hosting a fundraiser for McMaster next month in Washington.
The requested donation? At least $500 per person.
And while those checks are to be made out to “McMaster for Attorney General,” I’m guessing they’ll be cashed by “McMaster for Governor.”
Other longtime McCain allies like Charlie Black, former campaign manager Rick Davis and former Republican National Committee deputy chairman Frank Donatelli will also be in attendance for the March 3 event.

McCain would be the ABSOLUTE LAST PERSON in this hemisphere that I would want working for me! Sorry!
My vote STILL goes to Governor Pinkytoe.
RINO’s everywhere…..a loser presidential candidate working for a loser gubernatorial candidate. Two peas in a pod.
Living in Rock Hill, I got to see nearly every presidential candidate as they moved through Charlotte and tried to get a “two-fer” hitting both NC and SC.
When I saw McCain, he was introduced by McMaster. When McCain took the mic, he thanked McMaster and told the crowd that he (McCain) hoped we (the crowd) would support McMaster who would be on the campaign trail for governor before too long.
This was sometime in the fall of 2007.
