SHERIFF NABS SEVEN FOR DISTRIBUTION PLUS BONG OWNER IN CONNECTION WITH OLYMPIC CHAMPION’S PHOTO
Olympic champion Michael Phelps won eight gold medals at the Beijing Summer Games in 2008. And now, eight people have been arrested in connection with his November pot smoking binder in Columbia.
We’ve now learned that since investigators began trying to build a case, they’ve made eight arrests: seven for drug possession and one for distribution. These are arrests that resulted as the sheriff’s department served search warrants.
We’ve also learned that the department has located and confiscated [the bong used by Phelps]. Sources say the owner of the bong was trying to sell it on eBay for as much as $100,000. The owner, who wasn’t even at the party, is one of the eight now charged. [WIS]
I wonder if Phelps also took eight bong hits for each of the eight days he spent in South Carolina. Actually, I don’t know how many days he spent here, but I bet it was eight.
And after all of that smoking of the cannabis, I bet he “ate” a lot. Get it? Ate is a homophone for eight. Man, I’m hilarious. Almost as funny… the reasons pot was made illegal.

What a joke. If he is going to do this he has an obligation to start raiding every Frat and Sorority party at USC. Oh, but that would not get enough National Publicity, and might anger people who can do something about it.

This sheriff is an opportunist who is trying to make a name for himself persecuting people for crimes that cannot be successfully prosecuted.
There are 1000 “Doughboys” in Colunbia on every other street corner selling rocks right under his nose and the idiot cannot figure out how to do his job in those cases so he is going after the publicity.
