SC TO PERFORM FINAL 2008 EXECUTION IN COUNTRY FRIDAY
South Carolina often has a number of “wonderful” honors bestowed upon her. Our 50th out of 50 education system and celebutard beauty queens immediately come to mind.
And tomorrow, the Palmetto State will add another dubious distinction to that list when we carry out the final U.S. execution of 2008.
[Joseph Gardner] is to die by lethal injection for the kidnapping, rape and murder of 25-year-old Melissa McLauchlin in Dorchester County in 1992.
The victim was white and Gardner is black and initially authorities said her killing was racially motivated.
Neither her family nor Gardner’s attorneys say that was the case. Four other men were convicted, but Gardner was the only one sentenced to death. [AP]
If the movie The Green Mile taught me anything, it’s that capitol punishment is wrong. That, and that if you have magical powers like John Coffey (like the drink, only not spelled the same), you can make mice live for decades and cure kidney stones.

I guess things like rape and murder….oh and kidnapping….are ok.
McFogle…..find me one person on death row that doesnt claim innocence….
Grow a pair….they all deserve to die…..and should have their life taken in the same manner in which they took life.
When you “4fit” someone’s right to life, you “4fit” your own…..
So, whoa, if killing is wrong, how can we punish someone for killing by killing them? The DP is wrong.
