THE NEXT RIGHT HOLDING RNC CHAIRMAN STRAW POLL
Unless you’re a member of the Republican National Committee — and there are only 168 of those, so you probably aren’t — then you won’t have a chance to vote for South Carolina GOP Chairman Katon Dawson’s bid to lead the party.
No fear, though. The Next Right is currently holding an RNC chair straw poll. To vote for Dawson, click here (you have to have an account, but registering takes all of 90 seconds).
As of 2:30 p.m. there were 478 total votes cast. Dawson was in third with 17 percent of the vote behind former Maryland Lt. Gov. Michael Steele (45 percent) and Michigan GOP Chair Saul Azunis (22 percent). Former Tennessee GOP chair Chip Saltsman was in fourth with 16 percent of the vote.
Dawson announced his bid to become the next Republican Party leader a week ago on FOX News Channel. He recently announced his plan called Project 3141, which he said is “a campaign to establish our brand in every one of the 3141 counties in our 50 states.”

Katon should probably meet me before he adds me on facebook. What a creep.
He has been running for RNC CHAIRMAN since 1999…can this be a surprise to anyone?
He sucks.
He really, really sucks. So he might just win.
The guy from maryland? Their state party is in shambles.
…
Option A: “Here is a straw poll for RNC chairman, go and vote in it.”
Option B: “Here is a straw poll for RNC chairman, go and vote for the guy that I tell you to.”
