USC TAKES ON CLEMSON AT NOON FOR BRAGGING RIGHTS, BOWLS

When the University of South Carolina heads to Clemson at 12 p.m today for the 100th installment of a bitter rivalry that has seen everything from sideline-clearing brawls to countless last-second heartbreaks, there will be more than just bragging rights up for grabs.

For the 6-5 Tigers, it’s a chance to make it to a bowl game after a horrendous 3-4 start to the season.

For the Gamecocks, 7-4, it’s a chance to improve their bowl status and possibly play on New Year’s Day since 2001 when they beat Ohio State.

So here’s to Carolina and a big win in “Death Valley.” GO COCKS!

The Chicken Curse, like Hugh Leatherman, will be here forever. It will never leave us.

No matter how many beat downs we dish out, no matter how many points we score, no matter who their is coach, or where the game is played. The results are still the same an anual chicken kickin. Oh buy the way Steve where is our rent money. Clemson is the only school with two home stadiums.
