WORLD BEER FESTIVAL COMING TO CAPITAL CITY IN JANUARY

I was just thinking the other day that Columbia needed a beer festival. And then I go to The State’s website and BAM, that’s exactly what’s happening early next year.

The World Beer Festival, which is sponsored by All About Beer magazine, has booked the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center Jan. 24 for its next beer tasting festival.

Attend one of two sessions and sample all sorts of beer. The organizers also promise music and food to accompany the loads of suds. Tickets are $45 to $75. The magazine has sponsored several beer festivals in North Carolina. [The State]

I never saw the movie “Beerfest” but I pretty much got the gist of it from the previews. Lots of beer, debauchery, irresponsibility, and nudity.

I hope the Columbia version is just like that, only with celebrities. Get it? The movie didn’t have any.

I’m starting to think you’re just functionally retarded. January 24th is a Saturday.

Wow, who would’ve thought the Stay Puft Conservative could have such high standards.

Oh i dunno… Uncle Louies is right by there, and they have shuffleboard and domestics for a dollar. Tough choices.
