Herein lies the problem. In this article, Dawson is quoted as saying its important that the next chairman prove he can win races and raise money.

Well Dawson certainly has done that here. But what has that gotten us???? A bunch of elected Republicans who don’t work together and in-fight to no avail. Have you seen what is going on between Pro-Harrell House (R)’s and Pro-Haley House (R)’s? AND then between the House/Senate (R)’s and Sanford????

We need a chairman that can do more than win races but can unify our party. When are we going to address our party concerns and redefine goals and platform in a cohesive way?

Someone explain why Dawson is qualified to do what really needs to be done.

That is more idealistic, no position, no solution, no real substance than the crap Obama got away with saying.

What is he really going to do for the party? Steele is obviously not the answer. His positions are not true conservative positions. That does not sell me on Dawson however. What is he going to do to turn our party around in reality besides reminding us of these things we all want?

Dawson as national chairman and Sanford as chair of Rep governor’s conference?

Has no one on the national level looked at out State?
