BAD, BAD JIM BROWN BUSTED AGAIN

I think Jim Croce wrote a song once about defeated state House District 124 candidate Jim Brown. Sure, he called him “Bad, bad, Leroy Brown,” but he meant “Jim.” Trust me, I channeled his spirit and he told me so.

Anyway, Brown apparently done gone and got himself arrested again. And, as was the case last time, I’m sure it was a grand conspiracy against him.

Brown was arrested Friday for trying to prevent a car — not his own — from being booted in downtown Beaufort.

Officers from the Beaufort Police Department served Jim Brown, 37, of Lady’s Island with a warrant Friday afternoon for interfering with a police officer following an incident Thursday in downtown Beaufort, said Beaufort Police Chief Matt Clancy.

Clancy said Brown tried to prevent an officer from putting a boot on a car.

“The officer was dealing with a parking violation, and a car was being booted, and (Brown) became involved and interfered with the officer’s actions,” Clancy said. “It wasn’t his car. He wasn’t immediately involved but he came along and involved himself.” [Beaufort Gazette]

The obvious questions for most people would be, “whose car was it and why did he get himself arrested over it?” But I’m not most people.

My question is, “who was the amateur booter and why aren’t they better at their job?” Because on A&E’s “Parking Wars“, nobody ever gets arrested. Especially not when Garfield is on the job.

The answer is that obviously Brown did nothing wrong and it’s the Beaufort Police Department’s fault for not having more Garfield’s on staff.

How can they effectively seize somebody’s car without some sort of court order anyway (No person shall be … deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.)?

Maybe Brown was just standing up for liberty & truth.

Adam, your comments crack me up, dude!! They actually made my day a little better. They dropped those charges. It was crazy, though. The car belonged to his paralegal who never paid his parking tickets. Jim just told him to go pay them and the cop got freaked out furious!!! There was not even a boot there. He kept saying that a boot was coming. lol!!! You are like the first conservative blog person that is funny!!
