FORMER GUV ‘DOES THE RIGHT THING’ BY LAYING IT ALL OUT THERE
God bless Mike Huckabee… or, well, maybe not. Depending on who you ask.
That’s because it appears the former presidential candidate turned FOX News Channel host is settling a few grudges from the Republican primary via his new book, “Do the Right Thing.” Most notably, those with rival Mitt Romney and the South Carolina evangelical “leader” who endorsed him.
He calls out Pat Robertson, the Virginia-based televangelist, and Dr. Bob Jones III, chancellor of Bob Jones University in South Carolina, for endorsing Rudy Giuliani and Romney, respectively. [...]
Romney… comes in for the roughest treatment. Huckabee writes that the former Massachusetts governor’s record was “anything but conservative until he changed the light bulbs in his chandelier in time to run for president.” He notes that Romney declined to make a phone call of congratulations after Huckabee beat the oddsmakers to win the Iowa caucuses, “which we took as a sign of total disrespect.” He mocks Romney for suggesting, during one debate, more investment in high-yield stocks as a solution to economic woes. “Let them eat stocks!” Huckabee jokes… [Hot Air]
Kudos to the Huckster. Both of these guys deserve to be called out for being fraudulent hacks.
Seriously, if I had to choose between spending an hour in a room with Jones and Romney or getting ripped apart by starving lions, I wouldn’t hesitate to choose the latter. Actually, those are basically the same things, only the lions would be quicker.

You ARE in the Lion’s Den in case you don’t already know it.
Who pays your bills? Oh thats right….Huckabee’s folks……figures.
McFogle = in the tank (lions den)
“Both of these guys deserve to be called out for being fraudulent hacks.”
Can we add you to that list?
I usually disagree with you but today I have to give two thumb’s up to this post. Romney is an elitist who thought he could buy the nomination. Would have been too sweet to see Huckabee win South Carolina last January.
When Jone’s father died, there was a pool among the media as tho whether he would rise in three days, or beat the old record and rise in two.
Huckabee ought to know a chandelier light bulb changer when he sees one.
One of four candidates(two Rep and two Dem)who are crooks.

If he had no sins to hide, why in the name of Heaven did he destroy state computer hard drives (something NO other state would stand for). This is taxpayer owned, obstruction of justice, destroying that which could prove your innocence OR PROVE YOUR GUILT. Wonder which it was?
Then he besmirches the mother of poor raped and murdered girl here in Missouri on national TV instead of owning up to his mistake like a man.
Statement from Lois Davidson, Mother of Killer’s Victim, in Response to Governor Huckabee
Lois Davidson, whose daughter Carole Sue Shields was raped and killed in 2000 by a criminal whose release from prison was championed by former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, issued the following statement today in response to Huckabee’s contention in a television interview that her story was being “exploited” for political purposes:
# “Last night, Mike Huckabee accused me of being exploited and used for political purposes. I assure you, Mr. Huckabee, I am not being exploited. I am fully aware of the actions I have taken in attempting to inform the public of your role in my daughter’s rape and murder. I have spent over 7 years thinking about this.
# “I am not a dupe. But you, Governor Huckabee, were duped time and again by convicted felons who once released from prison by you began hurting people again.
# “Mr. Huckabee, I am not a victim. However, my daughter was a victim. She was raped and murdered by a serial rapist that you wanted freed from prison. Please be honest about the role you played in releasing my daughter’s killer.”
Let’s do the right thing Mike you old light bulb changer you. Maybe you better try to Huckster a book deal from a few zealots who are blind to the truths about you.
Huckabee Said He Supported The Surge Before Romney. “I supported the president in the war before you did. I supported the surge when you didn’t.” (ABC/WMUR, Republican Presidential Candidate Debate, Manchester, NH, 1/5/08)
One Year Ago, Gov. Huckabee Did Not Offer His Support For The Surge:
Gov. Huckabee, January 2007: “Well, I’m Not Sure That I Support The Troop Surge.” MSNBC’s NORAH O’DONNELL: “We have a Rudy Giuliani, who supports the president’s plan on Iraq. We have Governor Mitt Romney, who also supports a troop surge. How are you different from any of those candidates.” HUCKABEE: “Well, I’m not sure that I support the troop surge, if that surge has to come from our Guard and Reserve troops, which have really been overly stretched.” (MSNBC’s “Live,” 1/24/07)
Oh excuse me, I just noticed the rose colored hue of your bulbs. Much better.
Now, there’s a name that if you don’t know yet, you will. His name is Glen
Green. This guy is somebody who took Chinese martial arts sticks and took
an 18-year-old woman and near beat her to death. Now, while she’s
clinging to life because he beat her so brutally, while she’s clinging to life,
what does he do? He rapes her. Then after he’s done raping her, he then
takes her and dumps her body in a bayou and her hand is reaching up as if
pleading for help. That’s how they find the body. The guy goes to jail. Mike
Huckabee goes and pushes for parole with this guy. He pushes for parole,
the guy gets released, he kills again. Now, so far Mike Huckabee hasn’t
answered on why he wanted that parole, why he made that decision. I’d like
to hear that answer because I know that he met with his good friend,
another preacher, a preacher of the guy who was in jail and that’s when he
said, you know what, maybe we should really — misplaced compassion.
Let’s live the principles of forgiveness. Excuse me! Not without punishment
and not blindly.
I am so glad that maybe now you are thinking about doing the “right” thing. Oh! What’s that noise? Just someone changing light bulbs……
Google Huckabee and ethics or Huckabee and Jesus juice.
A Baptist minister, Huckabee singled out Holt, also a Christian. Said the governor: “I drink a different kind of Jesus juice.”
Seems like Jim Jones had a different kind of Jesus Juice too. I am not buying you book or drinking you concoction.
[...] book is a must read for conservatives as Huckabee reportedly takes off the gloves and rips former rival Mitt Romney and even Bob Jones [...]
