FEDERAL AGENTS DETAIN 300 WORKERS AT HOUSE OF RAEFORD FARMS PLANT IN GREENVILLE
The feds have rounded up an enormous batch of alleged illegal immigrants working at House of Raeford’s Columbia Farms plant in Greenville. Agents detained 300 migrant workers or six mariachi bands worth of people. Ay yay yay!
Assistant U.S. Attorney Kevin McDonald says the raid began shortly before 9am Tuesday during a shift change at [the plant].
Federal prosecutors and immigration agents have been investigating the plant’s hiring practices. McDonald says 12 people have been arrested in past months, and seven have pleaded guilty.
McDonald says a recent review of 825 workers’ immigration paperwork showed false information for more than 775.
Judging by the banner picture which was taken at Raeford by the Charlotte Observer in February, I think it’s safe to say absolutely nobody saw this story coming. This is a complete surprise to almost everyone. Like the scene in “Casablanca” when Captain Renault says, “I’m shocked, shocked to find that gambling is going on in here” and is then handed his winnings.
Other places that definitely don’t hire illegal workers in South Carolina include the Statehouse and Senator-elect Tom Davis’ house. The feds definitely shouldn’t check either of those places because I’m 100 percent certain there aren’t any illegals there.
In all seriousness, I wonder who will pack our chicken now. If there were nationwide raids I’m convinced we’d starve to death.

Between the new state and federal laws, the authorities aren’t playing around with this issue anymore. They’re arresting those responsible for forging documents and hiring workers illegally.
People who keep doing this will find the people they hire get off scot-free, deported only to return, while they’re in jail. Maybe one of them will share a cell with OJ and the “real killer” … ?
Just so everybody voting in the 1st District knows, Linda Ketner won’t tell you but she is on the record supporting amnesty for illegal immigrants so if you are upset at stories like the one above expect many more and with much more serious circumstances than just illegals processing chicken will occur if Linda Ketner is elected as the first lesbian elected in South Carolina…illegal immigration: just one of the issues that liberal lesbian Linda Ketner is trying to hide from the voters of the 1st District.
