SEN. BRYANT’S NEW RADIO AD WOULD BE BETTER IF YOU COULD HEAR IT OVER BACKGROUND MUSIC
I think Sen. Kevin Bryant is a good guy who means well, and his tax and spend Democratic opponent should be defeated at all costs, but I’m not sure the guy really “gets it.”
Not only did he bungle the greatest potential media exposure opportunity of his life — something that would have solidified his re-election — but now he’s gone out and blown money on a horrible new radio ad.
It’s not the content of the ad is bad, it’s just that you can’t hear it. The announcer is almost entirely drown out by the background music which features, of all things, bagpipes.
I think he said something about taxes and education but, honestly, I listened to it about 10 times and all I heard were bagpipes. It’s not that I’m anti-bagpipes, but I can’t imagine anything more distracting in a 30-second political radio ad.
Actually, he probably could have had William Hung lay down some background vocals and it would have been slightly more distracting. But only slightly.

“Not only did he bungle the greatest potential media exposure opportunity of his life — something that would have solidified his re-election — but now he’s gone out and blown money on a horrible new radio ad.”
Translation – “The fact that this guy doesn’t pay the Quinns means that he can only win by luck. But if he did pay the Quinns, he could be the King of England.”
