MSNBC CO-HOST HAS WAR OF WORDS WITH REPUBLICAN NOMINEE

I’ll admit I haven’t watched MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” with Joe Scarborough in weeks, so I missed the big tiff yesterday morning and am only now learning about it.

Apparently, often-feisty co-host Mika Brzezinski sparred with Republican presidential nominee John McCain during an interview when he sarcastically said that she was a supporter of Democrat Barack Obama. Brzezinski angrily fired back, “Supporter of Senator Obama? I’m not sure I’d characterize myself as that, but that’s OK.”

The two not-so-subtly quarreled back and forth for the rest of the segment with Scarborough — who for once kept his mouth shut — uncomfortably trapped in the middle.

As the interview wrapped, Brzezinski got in one last chide. “Senator, as a characterized Barack Obama supporter, which I take objection to, I’ll just say ‘take care of my brother (Ian) working on your campaign.’” she said.

“Thank you Mika, thanks, that was a cheap shot,” McCain responded.

I’m not sure what the hell started this on-air scuffle, because there’s apparently some behind-the-scenes dislike between these two, but it sure made for some great entertainment. Although, it would have been a whole lot better to see Mika and Cindy McCain go at it.

Didn’t see either, sounds like he may have flew off the handle a bit unfairly. This is why he said it was a cheap shot, I think. With this said, it’s about time the GOP took the MSM to task for some of their nonsense.
