ETV ANNOUNCES 7 LIVE CONGRESSIONAL DEBATES IN OCTOBER
They won’t hold anywhere near the amount of excitement witnessed during South Carolina’s presidential debates, and there won’t be any sand sculptures, but ETV and The State Newspaper will present seven live Congressional debates next month.
The first will be held Oct. 1 at 7 p.m., between First District Republican incumbent Henry Brown and Democratic challenger Linda Ketner in Beaufort. Ketner today challenged Brown to debate her, but apparently forgot he already accepted.
That will be followed on Oct. 15 with Third District Republican incumbent Gresham Barrett squaring off against Democratic challenger Jane Dyer at 8 p.m. in Spartanburg.
On Oct. 20, Fourth District Republican incumbent Bob Inglis and Democratic challenger Paul Corden will match-up at 7 p.m. in Spartanburg, Fifth District Democratic incumbent John Spratt and Republican challenger Albert Spencer debating two days later at 7 p.m. in Rock Hill.
The final three events will be at 7 p.m. on Oct. 27, 28 and 29 in Columbia. First up that week will be an interview with Sixth District Democratic incumbent James Clyburn, then Second District Republican incumbent Joe Wilson and Democratic challenger Robert Miller the following day, and finally the U.S. Senate debate between GOP incumbent Lindsey Graham and Democratic challenger Bob Conley the next day.
The debates will be moderated by ETV’s “The Big Picture” host Mark Quinn and will be broadcast on all 11 ETV stations and eight ETV Radio stations. The debates will also be streamed over the Internet at www.myetv.org.

Good job Adam. You posted accurate information and successfully resisted the urge to insult people pointlessly. Please keep it up.
