MSNBC CANS OLBERMANN, MATTHEWS FROM ANCHOR DUTY
I think most Republicans were admittedly upset when MSNBC, the cable news network which recently made a business decision to move its news coverage as far to left as possible, decided to have uber-liberal host Keith Olbermann anchor coverage of the GOP National Convention last week. But apparently that “business decision” backfired, and MSNBC has pulled Olbermann and Chris Matthews from hosting political night coverage including the upcoming presidential debates.
With outbursts like the above video clip in which Olbermann falsely blasts Republicans for “exploiting” the tragedies of Sept. 11, 2001, it’s easy to see why so many were angered. And fellow liberal and misogynist Matthews did little to help.
It’s one thing to put those two on during the Democratic convention so they can fawn over Barack Obama, but MSNBC could have at least given the anchor desk to someone with a few conservative credentials.
The problem is, they don’t have any conservatives to fill that void. They recently pushed Dan Abrams — hardly a conservative, anyway — off the air for Air America leftist Rachel Maddow, who makes Olbermann look like Richard Nixon. And Pat Buchanan is representative of little more than the party’s leftover socially reactionary old guard.
That leaves only my dear friend Joe Scarborough — the guy who called former Sen. Fred Thompson’s wife a stripper and openly shilled for the most liberal candidate in the Republican primary.
Yeah, that’s the best they’ve got for Republicans.
But hey, at least Scarborough admits MSNBC has moved way too far to the left, even if he is a main part of the problem.

Where’s your clamoring against Sean Hannity and Papa Bear? So it’s problematic to be “ultra liberal,” which by the way they’re only center-left, than it is to be ultra conservative?
Last I checked we didn’t have nut jobs going around shooting up churches with copies of books written by Olbermann, Matthews, or Meadows – yet we’ve seen consistantly violence perpetrated by folks who subscribe the views of Hannity, Coulter, O’Reilly and their ilk.
Where’s the fairness and the balance?
Hannity and Coulter and o’rielly go around killing people? give me a break M and m. shut up and take your stupid cry baby communist trash back to the gutter you came from. By the way that ugly ass blog you like to come to the scoop and link to on every blog to boost your traffic gives me as much of a f$%cking headache as the puke you regurgitate all over it. Get a life.
You know, when someone can’t refute what you have to say with facts, they resort to character assasination, congratulations – you’re a dumbass, sister.
When did having an opinion of your own become antiAmerican? It became antiRepublican when Bush took office.
Opinions are legal.
You have a choice on which tv station you watch.
Let America continue with free speech.
