NEWSPAPER PROMISES TO RELEASE POLL INFO OVER WEEKEND

I know this may cause a mass hysteria similar to Beatlemania or the last Harry Potter book, but I’m willing to risk it. You better brace yourselves because The State is planning to — get this — release EXCLUSIVE poll numbers about what southern voters are thinking.

Check it out:

Coming Thursday night on thestate.com:

Results from the latest Winthrop/ETV Poll of likely voters in Southern states. Find out:

# what 80 percent of Clinton supporters had to say about how they’ll be spending Election Day;
# if a Southern VP pick is going to impact their vote;
# which candidate they think feels their pain more; and
# if Obama’s level of experience or McCain’s age are issues that loom large in the minds of these likely Southern voters.

And coming Sunday:

More poll results exclusive to The State media and McClatchy newspapers, on respondents’ views on the economy.

Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy. I don’t how I’m going to be able to sleep until these numbers are published. I’ve gotta have those numbers. Can’t it be Thursday night already?

Maybe I’ll set up a tent and camp out in front of The State newspaper office so I can be the first one to get my hands on the data.

    I’ll bet over half the citizens of this state will be watching Carolina football Thursday instead of the demo convention. Me included and I don’t blame them .
