AG LAUNCHES NEW WEBSITE FOR, UMM, AG CAMPAIGN?
In a sure sign that Attorney General Henry McMaster is definitely not planning to run for governor in 2010, he has scrapped his old website and launched a spiffy new splash welcome page with the promise of a full website soon.
The teaser page can be viewed at www.HenryMcMaster.com and features an e-mail sign up form and a contributions page. And so far it’s a pretty sleek design.
Again, he’s probably doing this for his attorney general campaign in two years and this is certainly no indication that he plans to run for governor.
My favorite part about the welcome page was the tiny stars in the blue qarea surrounding the contribute/sign up box. I say “was” because I realized a few seconds after loading the page that my monitor was dirty and those “stars” were just specs of dust. True story.

Although McMaster is “definitely” not planning to run for governor in 2010, if he did it would really provide us with some comic relief for the “irrational depression” currently sweeping through the SC Blogs.
Mr. McMaster offers his services to ” select” South Carolinians. Don’t we all wanna change that?
Well, I was challenged a few months ago (June) by our AG to help deal with youth and the gang violence. I am really hoping this was not just face talk for the news cameras and The State newspaper. I am hoping Mr. McMaster will back me up. I’ll keep you posted on any response from the AG office on Business Leaders Youth Alliance.
