Michael,

The last two paragraphs were obvious sarcasm. Note the hyperbole. Come on, bo.

These men should be leaders and help set examples and not be made an example of.
I hope those "pesky" firemen don't hold a grudge to such a comment made by this publication.

What an arrogant dirt bag this guy is. "Every person in the country does it." That's just bullcrap. If everyone did it, then why are there so many freaking cars parked in the neatly painted little parallel lines scattered across the rest of the parking lot?

I’m sure I am guilty of breaking plenty of laws, but when I get caught I pay the penalty and move on (except Columbia parking tickets – it’s why I don’t park in meter spots when I’m up there anymore). For him to dismiss it so callously shows what a joke of a human he is and demonstrates the ass-backwards mentality one so often assumes when elected into such a, comparably, non-consequential office. We can add Senator Ford to the list of dorks who think their status grants them some sort of power right along side safety patrol officers, hall monitors, fraternity officers and SGA leaders.

A great follow-up story would be the fact that he actually changed his last name to "Ford" and the reasons behind the change.
