Obama voter registration booming

My former blogging colleague Grayson Daughters posted the above video today on the Huffington Post of the exponential voter registration taking place in the Lowcountry by volunteers for Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama.
Now, as she is prone to do, Grayson may very well come on here and cuss me out for this, but I don’t exactly see a whole lot of voter registration going on.
Unless of course by “voter registration” she means staring at parked cars and by “building support” she means hoping someone will walk by and acknowledge their presence, then yes, Obama’s volunteers are building major support in this state through voter registration.
Basically, there’s a six foot folding table under a tree on what looks like a dirt road in North Charleston with three or four people standing around doing absolutely nothing. Actually, “absolutely nothing” isn’t really a fair assessment; there was a part where I think the wind blew and someone probably had to go pick up the blank sheet of paper.
Regardless, this video is proof that the Obama campaign is really going to give Republican John McCain a run for his money in South Carolina. Especially if they are able to turn out the phantom registrants from such efforts.
man please don’t feed the space troll, her self delusion is already to much for peach pundit to handle. the last thing loyal peach pundit readers need is someone encouraging that space case.
I believe the Republicans have big huge reasons to fear this election. My question is,
was the Republican party couped to make all voters conceed to the Democratic party> Is this the real beginning of socialism in America instead of democracy?
Democracy is dead in case people missed that.
I’m watching you boys. And you know it. Heck, you love it. It’s the only attention you’ve gotten since even yo mommas gave up and stopped tying on those t-bones.
And one more thing before I rev up the broom for the day… I hear Obama’s adding about 75 folk to his (paid) GA staff, in addition to the at least 50 ’round these parts already. I’m sure some will be dispatched eastward. Don’t come whining to me that I didn’t blog about it.
And least anyone do something really retarded and start believing a word out of Adam’s mouth, I’m having a hard time recalling when/where dude and I were EVER colleagues at anything. Could just be the hangover though. Maybe we flipped burgers together on Folly Beach once? BTF outta me.
Nothing to worry about. SC is so in the bag for McCain, Republicans may as well stay home on election day. Has anyone heard about Republicans anywhere organizing voter registration drives?

Eric: Actually, I haven’t done any Phil Kent thrashing in ages. Reminds me I need to get in the game and get hackin’ and bashin’ over there. I have been neglecting my blog duties in favor of spending time/money in SC. Furthering their tax base. And I’m not even gay! Just wait ’til I get to be one of the gays; then I’ll have serious $$$.
Adam: Those volunteers who gave up their Saturday registered 46 voters. This was a busy parking lot in a neighborhood rich with unregistered Obama voters. The republicans can ignore SC, at their own peril. The cost to the campaign $0, winning SC= priceless.
