16 YEAR OLD RECOVERING IN HOSPITAL AFTER SUFFERING BURNS ON NEARLY ONE-FIFTH OF BODY DURING FIRST DAY OF WORK

This is the first I’ve heard about this story, but these four paragraphs from the Associated Press are enough to really piss just about anybody off:

Sixteen-year-old Jacob Robinson’s family says someone threw lit fireworks through his car window Friday night as he stopped to asked for directions as he delivered food in Myrtle Beach.

Authorities say the fireworks burned Robinson on 15 percent of his body and his shirt was still smoldering when paramedics arrived.

The teen’s father says Robinson had a skin graft and is recovering at a burn center in Augusta, Ga.

Police are investigating, but don’t have any suspects or a motive. [AP]

Robinson reportedly took the summer job to earn money to pay for his cell phone and car insurance. For that, some thug(s) burnt 15 percent of his body.

This is definitely one of those situations where justice should be served the same exact way as the crime.
