Just when we thought that Lauren Caitlin Upton’s 15 minutes of fame might be coming to an end Weezer swoops in to save the day.

With the first single off of their upcoming Red Album the Weez brings in about a dozen and a half YouTube celebrities to put them back at the top of the charts. Check out Ms. Upton at the 1:10 mark. Oh yeah and I was really hoping to get Rick Rolled sometime during the video and it just didn’t happen…

This video fits the Weezer formula for #1 rock singles. With Buddy Holly we saw them in Happy Days. For Hashpipe they brought in some Sumo wrestlers and for Beverly Hills they spent their time with Hugh Hefner and his bunnies at the Playboy Mansion.

I like the song and am excited about the Red Album, but I’m not expecting Pinkerton.
