POSSIBLE FUTURE SECOND LADY MARY PAWLENTY GETTING BETTER WITH AGE

The man who is rumored to be atop GOP presidential nominee John McCain’s short list to serve as his running mate has recently earned some “love” from the media for a comment he made about his wife.

“I have a wife who genuinely loves to fish. I mean, she will take the lead and ask me to go out fishing, and joyfully comes here,” Minn. Gov. Tim Pawlenty told a Minneapolis-St. Paul radio station, “She loves football, she’ll go to hockey games and, I jokingly say, ‘Now, if I could only get her to have sex with me.’”

Being that I had absolutely no idea what Mary Pawlenty looks like, I did what I always do: I Googled it.

It turns out — as you can see in the side-by-side pictures above — Mrs. Pawlenty has, umm, changed a bit over the last eight years. And I think most people would agree that it was for the better.

Just to be PC here, I’m sure she has remained the same wonderful person on the inside.

Regardless, I’m just waiting for a press release from the office of Gov. Mark Sanford — who has become Pawlenty’s quasi-political rival if only for the fact that the media thinks he too has a shot at ascending to the presidential ballot this fall — with the headline “Jenny still likes me, nah, nah, nah, boo, boo.” You know, because that’s what this administration has essentially devolved to.
