You guys can counter this by promoting the endorsement of McCain by the New York Times. You were so eager to cover every other endorsement he has received, but for some reason we have not seen it linked here.

Wonder why that is?

Dude – Scarborough is a pundit that hosts a TV show. I'm sure you're shilling goes over well with the Quinns, but it wears pretty thin.

The motivation of bad guys is complicated. If we insist that people do things only for envy or for religious reasons, we are enter the fray handicapped. Though, some terrorists in the field are motivated by religion, most in terrorist organizations and especially those who fund them are motivated by other things. The primary motivation is US meddling over the past century, both overt and covert. For Al Qaeda the primary motivation has always been related to reclaiming an Islamic empire, and that gets right back to US meddling. To Al Qaeda, the US relationship with Saudi Arabia is a problem.

If we ignore the full picture of motivation, we are handicapped. I have trouble believing that Scarborough wants the President to be handicapped. Something is fishy.

Now, should the knowledge that meddling in other countries can have blowback affect foreign policy? In a practical sense alone, yes. But, what if meddling in other countries is the right thing to do? We might consider being strong in that. However, a close look at the history of the past century has shown that the US government has been doing wrong around the world. The actions of those we trusted in Washington have been wrong. Those wrong actions have put us at risk. We need to change to a non-interventionist foreign policy.

Scarborough used the word "underestimated" so many times, that I fear his support of Romney is based on some sort of fear.
