I called the number above and talked with Patrick Davis and let him know that he just lost a vote for Huckabee with his negative push polling. If others will call him and Huckabee campaign, maybe he will stop.

Dear Lee Ann T, Jeff L, and Jim H.

We homeschool our children (we have 4 but 2 are toddlers).

The Home School Legal Defense Association’s PAC endorsed Huckabee. Huckabee is a strong supporter of homeschooling. I don’t rely on the government to train my children, so my main concern is that the government not screw up my children’s education by giving them fairly tails about big bangs and evolution. Like most homeschooled children, my kids score well above grade level on same standardized tests taken by public and private school students across the USA.

Regarding Gov. Huckabee Christianity, he is the only candidate that I have heard testify that he has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. So, he doesn’t hate Mexicans, I’ll forgive for that. So, taxes were raised in Arkansas during his 10 years as Governor to fix the mess that two democrat governors left. I am glad that the NEA doesn’t hate him, they have enough hate for us homeschoolers that they probably don’t have much left for anyone else.

The comparison to Bill Clinton is more negative dirty politics. I have not attacked any of the other candidates yet you bash Huckabee as apostate. Please check the mirror, I think that you may have a wooden beam in your eye.

Fred Thompson is a nice old man with a pretty young wife and baby. I would have supported him, but he just never threw in his hat. I, for one, did not feel the need to beg him to run. He is a day late …

If Huckabee is such a great man in the race, why doesn’t he appear somewhere without a famous face in his entourage? Sure reminds me alot of the last Arkansas governor running for U.S. President. Look what we got from that election. Who needs another liberal minded, I will tell you what you want to hear to get your vote, and even bring hollywood stars, and a “WRASTLER”, to boot to, get everyone to show up. I had 3 women tell me today that they were going to the event in FLO town just to see Chuck and one was bringing her husband who loves “The Nature Boy” so much he collects figurines of him. Give me a break! If there weren’t any stars with him, there wouldn’t be anyone at his appearances. Minor exceptions of course.

His comments show just how out of it he is. He is running for President and acting like he is running for governor, or state preacher, of each state he visits. I am sure there are plenty of congregations who will pay him to be their preacher. Send him back to Arkansas.

Just because someone was a born-again believer and a pastor does not make him correct. Let’s talk about Jim Bakker. Let’s talk about the other pastors that have fallen from grace in recent history. A “man of God” is not infallible. And let’s talk about Huckabee who is carting Jim Gilchrist around to shore up his phony current stand on illegal immigration, where Gilchrist is attacking members of the anti illegal immigration movement who have come out against Huckabee as being child molesters and worse. Real Christ like, yet Gilchrist is still following him around trying to prove he’s relevant. . Check out alipac.org and find the emails that Gilchrist has been sending out. I am a born again believer myself and there is no way that I would vote for Mike Huckabee. What you’re doing when you say you’ll only vote for a Christian is no better than voting for Obama because he’s black or for Hillary because she’s a woman, or for Romney because you’re Mormon. It’s yet another form of prejudice and the Christian right needs to grow up.

Have you ever wondered why all these national and state organizations have endorsed Fred rather than your candidate?

Your candidate is endorsed by the NEA! That in itself scares me. He’s been anti-voucher, pro public schools! The educational system in this country is totally responsible for the dumbing down of our children. Fred cosponsored the Education Flexibility Partnership Act to give states more control over federal funding.

Fred voted for the 1996 Defense of Marriage Act to define marriage as between one man and one woman and to protect states from being forced to recognize same sex marriages performed in other states.

Fred is ALSO anti illegal immigrants unlike your candidate, Huckabee. Huckabee wanted to give illegals in Arkansas in-state tuition and government benefits!!!!

Your negative, attack articles on Huckabee are not going to work.

Rush always says that the democrats complain the loudest about the very things that they are guilty of doing. If you are complaining about Huckabee, my bet is that your candidate is the one doing the most negative attack ads and push polls.

Those of us who like Huckabee, like him because he is a pr0-life, pro-traditional marriage, born again, Baptist preacher and we will vote early and often regardless of any negative ads or your negative articles. If a negative attack ad causes your man to loose votes, then he didn’t have the vote to begin with.

Anybody heard the new Huckabee talk radio ad today? He takes jabs at McCain and Romney, and then says he’s the one who likes guys who have Confederate flags on their pick-up trucks. What a farce!
A few days ago he was still talking about how wrong the South was, and that college scholarships to illegal immigrants is “atonement for slavery”.
No ideological understanding of decentralism, of course, because he’s such a huge liberal on everything, even hiring gays for his administration.

The Huck ad is bound to be a ruse by Richard Hines, who is probably hoping to make friends with Huckabee. He did the same thing with Peeler in the ‘02 race against Condon and Sanford. Same thing with DeMint against Beasley in ‘04. He pays for last minute ads to exploit Southern Heritage sympathy for whatever furthers his bizarre foreign policy agenda.

This is pretty dirty. I know Huckabee has said that he doesn’t condone this, but if it really bothers him he should call this company and ask them to stop. Guilt by inaction.
