  1. John McCain – 29%
  2. Mike Huckabee – 23%
  3. Mitt Romney – 13%
  4. Fred Thompson – 12%
  5. Ron Paul – 6%
  6. Rudy Giuliani – 5%
  7. Undecided – 10%

Why do all of these Republicans, SOUTHERN Republicans…supposedly conservative, want LIBERAL GOP candidates? Romney? Yeah, he’s a businessman. That’s it. McCain? Huge government lib. McCain-Feingold anyone? Huckabee? GOP Carter. He was a “religious” man too.

Thompson is the ONLY conservative. And he treats the voter like adults. And he’s the only one to put out specific policy ideas on numerous issues. He won’t pander to you.

Carter not only grew nuts, he was and is a nut. I know Carter, and Huckabee is no Carter. Rush and the other media elite just can’t stand a born again believer.

On Saturday, I will be proud to vote, early and often, for a pro-life, pro-second amendment, pro-traditional marriage, Baptist preacher.

I can’t believe what I am hearing in these polls. I always thought South Carolinians were a little more savvy than to vote for democrats in Republican’s clothing. That is exactly what you will be doing if you nominate McCain or Huckabee. Has anyone bothered to look at their voting records? If you line up their records w/ say…Hillary’s you would (hopefully) be shocked at the similarities. People must’ve forgotten how we felt about John McCain being so far left the last time he was being considered..seems like he even helped out the other side by driving away the fringe? Anyway…I hope you put lots of thought into what you are doing on Saturday. I am a Christian Conservative…but Huckabee is not the Christian Conservative I would vote for….there is not one running! I am thinking Thompson….even Romney would be a better choice to run against Hillary or Osama Barack Obama…think about it.

John McCain and Mike Huckabee’s stands on illegal immigration automatically disqualify them from being president.

Remember is was McCain that teamed with Democrats for campaign finance reform and amnesty for illegals, not Huckabee. There is no comparison. So, Huckabee just wants to send the illegals home, not burn them on a stake. Democrats are pro-joice, pro-gays, and anti-gun. Huck is pro-life, pro-traditional marriage, and pro-second ammendment. Not to mention, he is a really nice guy and I will be voting early and often for him tomorrow.

David O is right, Huckabee is as Republican as they come, he was even arguing in Michgan to how we needed to amend the Constitution to conform with God and not amend God to confrom with the Constitution – for too long we haven’t had a government willing to tell us how to pray and Huckabee, God willing mind you, will change all that.
