The State newspaper has the details on tomorrow’s Mike Huckabee event in Clemson featuring Chuck Norris and Ric Flair. Woooooooooo!
2:30 p.m. ET – Clemson, SC – Attends “Huckabee for President” Rally with martial arts expert Chuck Norris and former 16-time World Wrestling Champion Ric Flair at the Jervey Athletic Center on the campus of the Clemson University, located at 100 Perimeter Road.
I hope this trio will fight for the fair tax. Mr DeMint should be brought in for an ole fashioned kick in the butt for endorsing Mitt. I shook hands with Mitt and asked a pointed question about his stand on the fair tax. He stated he would look at it after being elected. I told him too late you need our votes and I will not support a candidate that will not step up and carry this issue to victory. I voted for DeMint who has let me down on this key issue. Save a Buck and vote for Huck
The fair tax is going to screw you in the wallet so hard it comes out your mouth unless you got it well padded with hundreds of thousands of dollars. There would be a 30 to 40 percent sales tax on top of state and local sales tax. That would increase the cost of everything by nearly 50 percent.
Trust me. I´m living in Europe right now. With the Euro at about $1.42, living is tres expensive.
And there is the definite possibility of less federal dollars given to the states, towns, and cities, which would mean your property taxes would blow your roof off.
And so 95 percent of the population would not be able to buy any non-essentials. Since our economy is based on buying crap you don´t need or stuff you will never even use, it would collapse and take the rest of the world with it.
Don´t get me wrong. I enjoyed Missing In Action I, II, and III like every other American male, but I ain´t going to be the doop for no star power or simplified political pandering.
Besides, Chuck got his arse handed to him in that one Bruce Lee film in Rome.
The only good that would come of a fair tax is we would stop using up so many resources and poisoning the water and air. All this would happen though while the world economies collapsed, people starved, started robbing other people for food. Other nations would go to war. Fascist leaders would start popping up. It would be rediculous in the worst sense possible.
