The Entertainment Hall of Fame Foundation of South Carolina will be “Honoring the Memory of Bill Pinkney” during the 55th Anniversary of The Original Drifters on Sunday, Jan. 20.   The event will also mark the 20th Anniversary of The Drifters’ Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction.

The festivities begin with the Bill Pinkney Memorial Highway Dedication and Sign Unveiling at 3 p.m. to be held at Bill Pinkney Park in Dalzell.  Following that, there will be a celebration concert at 5 p.m. featuring Bill Pinkney’s Original Drifters, The Crystals, and other guest artists at the Opera House, 21 N. Main St., Sumter.
