So I guess it will be easier for Romney staffers to take down opponents’ signs and replace them with their own. Because they’re friendly like that.
Said The Green Mountain Politics blog, who posted the above video:
Absolutely hilarious.
GMP1 thinks that the girl in the video is a Romney staffer.
Anyway, what Romney staffer (or volunteer or supporter) pulls a stunt like this in front of at least two video cameras (the one recording the footage and the cameraman that edges into the shot about halfway through)?
Angry ones. That’s who.
Smile folks.
You’re on candid camera.
Of course, as Towhall notes:
It’s hard to tell for certain if these sign-snatchers are really from the Romney campaign.
The truth is it could be Romney supporters — McCain supporters — or more devious: A 3rd campaign trying to set-up Romney and/or McCain …
Regardless, it’s tasteless. And there is no doubt this will get nastier as Tuesday approaches.
Ha! You think it will get nastier between now and Tuesday? Just wait until these goons are at the helms of Romney’s smear efforts when South Carolina is in the spotlight. I hope we only see sign snatching.
Let’s just say that if their New Hampshire campaign is a Disney movie, their South Carolina efforts will be The Texas Chainsaw Massacre by comparison. And it would be appropriate because, after all, they do pride themselves on “gutting” people.

Will someone tell us who’s property these signs were on. For all we know, McCain folks put signs somewhere without a property owner’s permission and either the owners called the Romney staff and asked for new signs, or perhaps the folks pulling the signs down owned the property and changed their minds about McCain after his shenanigans in the ABC debate on Saturday.
Romney runs the most efficient and well-organized campaign. Only an idiot would conclude first that Romney’s campaign was behind this–in front of two cameras no less.
What sort of paranoid person films the campaign sign in their front yard “just in case” someone comes along and messes with it?
If someone was really that madly, insanely, concerned about it, they’d put razor blades in their sign such that anyone pulling up the sign would get cut.
