On the heels of the Iowa caucus, the head of South Carolina’s Republican Party, Katon Dawson, has sent out a harsh statement hitting tonight’s Democratic trifecta.
“The three radically liberal candidates who punched their tickets to move on in the Democrat nominating process tonight are out of touch with voters in South Carolina. Although they have criticized each other bitterly in negative a campaign, they are united in their intent to raise taxes, let government take over healthcare and surrender to the terrorists in Afghanistan and Iraq.”
Dawson is also being featured in an in-depth interview on the National Review Online focusing on “Life After Iowa.” Check it out here.

UPDATE: Dawson just released this statement on the GOP caucus:
“With Iowa’s results in, we are extremely excited to move closer to our historic First-in-the-South Republican Party Presidential Primary,” said Dawson. “Once again, we expect our primary will be a make-or-break election that propels a Republican to the White House – just as it has from Ronald Reagan to George W. Bush. Tonight, it was clear Republican presidential candidates moving forward in the primary process share the kind of optimism about America’s future that Republicans will respond to in our state. Americans can be confident that the nominee who ultimately emerges from South Carolina can be trusted to grow our economy, make healthcare more affordable and, most importantly, keep our families safe and secure.”

What a hater. LOL!
Seriously, what does Katon Dawson hope to prove with his “attack”? The “surrender to the terrorists in Afghanistan and Iraq” is just old. No American president will do that.
