Gasp… say it ain’t so! White House hopeful Mitt Romney is infiltrating the “independent” focus groups that rate the presidential debates?
In this latest focus group for the PBS debate, a man by the name of Nathan Burd showed up and decided to support Mitt Romney. And Nathan is allowed to support who he wants, but the “Independent” Focus Group should have know that Nathan Burd was the founder of Americans for Mitt. Tell me why a Mitt Romney supporter infiltrated what was supposed to be an “Independent” Focus Group!
Why didn’t someone at least Google his name? You know, all that stuff that Fox News said that CNN should have done before letting Hillary Clinton and John Edwards supporters ask questions at the Republican YouTube debate! [KEVIN TRACY]
Oh Mitt’s campaign, you’re so scandalous! Next thing you know, they’ll be sending anonymous protesters to rival campaign events or putting out phony push poll calls on themselves. Oh wait… nevermind.

Yes, this is a hoax. I’m Nathan Burd. I watched the debate and the focus group at home in Columbus, Ohio. The entire focus group session is on You Tube. Look it up, I’m not there and there was no interview.
I have no idea who started this story, although I’ve been told it appeared on Thompson and Huckabee blogs. Most sites have removed this story and/or printed an apology. I hope you’ll do the same.
